How To Pay

Self-Pay:

Scholarships & Grants:

Need or merit-based awards that do not need to be repaid. Skilled Trade Institute offers scholarships and grants (when available) that you can apply for to see if you are eligible! (Activate LINK HERE)

Loans:

Borrowed funds that can be repaid later to help cover tuition. (Students responsibility) 


Tuition Reimbursement:

Tuition Reimbursement Incentive Programs (vary by employer) but may include help repaying your Skilled Trade Institute tuition fee, hiring incentive packages, tool purchase assistance and sign-on bonuses.


Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:

Age:

18 Years & older.


Education:

A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required. Applicant must provide an official transcript for high school. All GED records must be submitted if applicable.


Physical Examinations:

Applicants must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the apprenticeship program, with or without a reasonable accommodation, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others. Physicals will be covered by the employer.

 

Background, Drug and Alcohol Testing:

All applicants will be subject to criminal background screening and drug testing. There are no automatic exclusions from acceptance into the program. However, if a background check discloses one or more felony convictions, an assessment will be made on a case-by-case basis. 

 

Driver’s License/Transportation:

Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license & have reliable transportation to attend classes.
